Two activities and a quiz involving identifying correctly and incorrectly punctuated contractions. Pupils must look carefully at the sentences to check if the apostrophes for omission have been put in the correct place for a variety of contracted words. There are three activities provided: ✽ Contractions Quiz: pupils identify whether each sentence is correctly or incorrectly punctuated. This quiz is great to use as a starter or plenary with the whole class with pupils working independently or in pairs.
